My first publically-released work of politico-rock, and also the first to feature me singing.
With regard to the copyrights, I think the sample at the beginning of the song was made by the US Government and is therefore not subject to copyright. I did research this prior to recording, but it is of course possible that I overlooked something. If you are, or represent, the copyright holder of this sample, then please do contact me and we'll work something out.

| Lyrics: |
People of America, do not adjust your set
I assure you that is what he meant to say
Your president has caught a fascinating new disease
He no longer sees any shade of grey
His little world is laid out like a chessboard in his mind
The ranks of white and black standing starkly either side
There’s no room for other players, it is simply Us and Them
But I’m not one of Us, I’m one of Me!
Don’t make me monochrome (I can see the shades of grey)
Monochrome (Be careful what you say)
Monochrome (Don’t let the colours fade away)
Upgrade your eyes
If God is for us, who can be against us
But that is not the line that we’ve been fed
Quit pretending that you’ve got the Lord upon your side
Your enemies will end up just as dead
People of America, you have no monopoly
On these simple-minded creatures watching black-and-white TV
People everywhere are just the same
They classify my body and they pigeonhole my mind
They rule my boundary lines out straight and strong
But the largest box is far too small to keep a man inside
And knowing that’s what keeps me going on! (Solo)
If I oppose you does that mean that I am evil too?
Stop using so much rhetoric and phlegm
I may not like the things you do, but I don’t wish you harm
So have I joined the massing ranks of the Them? (Chorus) x2
